Dr. Emily Broadway
Dr. Emily Broadway grew up in Mississippi and attended Mississippi State University for her undergraduate degree and continued her education by receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State as well. Upon graduation, she moved to west Texas while her husband, Rand Broadway, completed his Ph.D. at Texas Tech University. The Broadway family has now been rooted in Lubbock for more than 10 years. After gaining experience and expertise in both daytime clinical practice, and emergency medicine, Dr. Broadway found her home at 82nd Street Veterinary Clinic in 2019. She settled in and went on to purchase the clinic in 2021. Her desire to bring forth gold standard veterinary care to the Lubbock and surrounding areas are displayed through further educating her technician staff, and by attending regular continuing education meetings in order to expand her knowledge base and skillset. Dr. Broadway enjoys new client, puppy and kitten care, and is eager to handle advanced medical and surgical cases for both new and established clientele. She values bringing compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and love to Veterinary medicine every day.
Her and her husband both love attending and being involved in their church. During their free time, Dr. Broadway and her husband are most likely chasing their 3 young sons, cooking out, deep in thought in a good book, or watching Mississippi State and Texas Tech football.
